The film explores the power of passion that drives people towards balance and ful- fillment. Three characters meet: Roman Rohrmoser, a Ski-Freeride professional, Gerald Rosenkranz, a mountain bike and unicycle expert, and Jay Bearhead, a Canadian indigenous, who was forcibly separated from his family as a child. Jays’ cultural identity was taken away from him during his time in residential schools. How- ever, his love for mountain biking provided him with an outlet to process his traumatic experiences. Jays ́ problems resurfaced when he turned to drugs in his youth. He hit rock bottom and ended up as a heroin addict on the streets of Kamloops. Once again, it was his passion that gave him the decisive push to change and become clean. Furthermore, the help of his indigenous community and his reconnected cul- ture played a crucial role in helping him overcome his addiction and stay on the right path. The film is a powerful testament to the transformative power of passion in over- coming adversity. The message of "Walking the Good Path" is clear: finding your passion can lead you towards a more fulfilling life. By pursuing what you love, you can overcome obstacles and find meaning in your journey. Taking that first step on your own good path – who knows where it may lead you?
